InterSLIP Timer is a utility application to be used with InterSLIP that allows you to keep track of how much time you spend on your SLIP account. InterSLIP must be installed on your computer for it to work. InterSLIP Timer requires System 7.0 or later.
When you launch by double-clicking, InterSLIP Timer will automatically signal InterSLIP to connect to your currently configured host. A small, draggable timer window appears under the Trash. InterSLIP Timer waits patiently until InterSLIP signals that the connection is established, then begins to time your session. The blue numbers, on top, time the current session, while the red numbers, below, record cumulative time. When "End Session" is selected from the File menu, your InterSLIP connection will be broken and the timer turned off. When you select "Quit," InterSLIP Timer will quit, your InterSLIP connection will terminate, and the current session time will be added to cumulative time and saved. Selecting "Clear" will terminate your session and set cumulative time to zero. If "AutoClear" is checked, cumulative time will automatically be set to zero on the first of every month. This is handy if you are billed by your provider by monthly usage and you want to know how much you have used in the current month.
InterSLIP Timer is discetionary shareware. If you find that you use it a lot and feel like sending money (say $5), by all means do so. If you feel like sending a nice letter or postcard, do that. If you want to send a shareware product of your own, please do! If you don't feel like sending anything, don't send anything. There are no annoying registration dialog boxes full of accusatory language getting in your face or anything like that.
